Some days, the applause feels dim and distant. I keep writing, recording, and creating, wondering whether any of it is reaching someone. There is a certain quiet that comes with creating something meaningful and wondering where it might find a connection.
Still, I keep showing up. Every day, I sit down to write a blog post, record a reel, and share something meaningful. I am also working toward finishing my next book, Leadership Riffs. This daily rhythm of creativity has become an important part of who I am. I keep pressing Publish and adding another piece to a growing body of work that reflects what I love, what I believe, and what I hope to contribute to this world.
Maybe something I write today will resonate with someone tomorrow. Maybe a story, a song, or a reflection will find its way to someone who needs to hear it. I may never know.
I would be lying if I said that recognition and connection did not matter to me. They do. I want to know that my work matters to someone beyond myself. I want to find my bandmates and experience the joy of creating something meaningful together.
For now, I will keep creating in the quiet. There is still so much I want to say, share, and discover. I am building a body of work, one day and one creation at a time, with the hope that it will find its people someday.
That hope is enough to keep me going today.
